Heads Up

  • Heads Up is when you are playing against 1 other player.
Heads up refers to situations where you are playing against a single opponent. Heads Up SNGs are sit and go tournaments for two players whilst Heads Up in SNGs and MTTs refers to both a situation when you play against one other player on a street (i.e my preflop raise had 1 caller so we saw the flop Heads Up) or the end of a SNG /MTT when only 2 players are left in the tournament.
For Cash Games, Heads Up tables refer to tables where only 2 players can sit down or Heads Up can also refer to when you face one opponent at a stage in a hand as demonstrated in the above example.
