If you are a keen poker player, then you will note that Omaha has gained popularity to become the second most played poker game in the world.
This game uses a 52-card French deck and it is closely related to the Texas Hold 'em.
Each Omaha player is dealt four cards, instead of two, as is the case in Texas Hold ’em.
The player must use two of them and three of the community cards. Two to ten players can play the game on one table.
Omaha is a variation game and is played in either a pot limit or limit format with the Omaha high and Omaha 8-or-better being the most common variations.

In the Omaha high variation, each players aims at the best high hand while in the latter format, the pot is divided between the best high hand and best low hand.
If you end up with five cards in your hand ranking eight or lower, then you win the low hand.
