Bankroll

  • A player's bankroll is the summed up amount of money that is allocated solely for playing poker.
A bankroll is pretty much the fund a player is playing with. It can be distributed from cash reserves, to money in e-wallets or bank-accounts to balances on pokersites.

"Roll" is used as an abbreviation for bankroll.

    Example

I was able to win four buy-ins yesterday, I think my roll is healthy enough for moving up a stake level now!
