Brick and Mortar

  • A slang term for live poker used by online poker-players, meaning a phyical existing casino or cardroom and not a virtual one.
Usually casinos only have "brick and mortar" cardrooms, meaning you have to go to the casino in order to play.

There are exception's though with the WSOP, having an online casino site WSOP.com where you can play from the state of Nevada online, but can access your online balance to make deposits and withdraws in certain "brick and mortar" casinos.
