    "Having Edge" is important when table selecting. The old saying "If you do not know who is the fish at the table it is you." carries value. You always want to play against weaker competition because next to the opponents in most cases you have to also beat the rake.

    So your "edge" to play in a game must be high enough to compensate for the rake.
