The way I think about AQ here pre is what is best against each individual hand Say SB has 65s, what option has the highest EV? Say SB has AJo, what option has the highest EV? Say SB has AA, what option has the highest EV? Now it's not easy to know the…

Since you have spades, the protection isn't very much I don't think jam can be better than calling turn and calling any river (you lose the same vs his nuts, but you might get some bluffs to jam the river too). If you think you can check/fold some…

I like your line. villain should be betting range on flop. Turn our hand cant usually get 2 streets of value and doesnt need protection so check is good. River he is repping 2Pair+(he could probably do this with Ak but I doubt he would) so your hand…

Pre - vs fish deeper IP would make it as much as possible, unless dead reads that he's going to go crazy vs small(est) open sizes, if not, don't see a good reason to open less than 3BB. Flop - even if by betting less you force villain to continue wider…

His range should be 2Pair+ and draws. So yeah 3bet flop. You get value from draws and from 2Pair+. Callingis good if you think he will be barreling too much on turn/river.

Quote from duder1n0: “Do you make sense of his postflop sizing? I guess it's practically a two-street plan, committed on the turn with this non-allin size. ” Yes, he's never fold to the turn jam. But that's actually an awesome mistake by him that you are…

Slowplay frequency depends mostly on how static / dynamic the board is. If the nuts won't change (monotone, QQQ), then you should slowplay lots. If the nuts are gonna change for sure (typical drawy 984f board), then you should almost never…

Pretty much like @fawltyfelix says Assuming some donking is correct here (which I don't think it is here but whatever) you have these options: * Strategy * Exploitability by Opponent * Ease of Play * check everything * low * very easy *…

This is a great hand to look at. I think many players would just play it like you did or similarly, and not think about it too much. But there are quite a few things to consider here. Let's go backwards on this one. River, you can't get called by worse…
