Flop bet or check is fine. You dont get many folds so check is ok. On the other hand it's your strongest draw. Turn is fine too. Fish will rarely fold a better hand vs raise. River is weird. Why do you raise so small? Do at least 1/2 pot. Potsize raise

I think size is fine. He still has a lot of hands we beat that pay a big bet and will not raise. Like QJ, QT, KJ, KT, JT, T8, Q8, JJ.

I would play the same. Curious what he had. It's a bit small for 98 right? If I had a straight as BU I would try to get my stack in :)

Ax no fd are the only hands that we protect against. 33-44 are loose preflop calls and will never fold on the flop vs 1/2 or smaller (with diamond). Quote from miserry: “What if you have TT, 88, JJ, T9s, 98s? ” Usually I check everything in this…

On blanks it's whatever. Can bluff or giveup. Sizing should be big. Small makes no sense as you only play a flush that way for value.

I see it more and more from people that they raise these spots with their strong hands IP. But I agree with 2). If they do a loose flop raise they usually xb turn a lot. But that's not the problem when you have AA and he has JT. Let him do something or…

Agree with painlezz. You can call or raise turn, solver always mixes flushes and fd's in every line. I wouldnt bluff river. He has Ax+ very often after turn action.

I think you can call the turn again with KT, but a hand like K8 would be too weak. As played river is just a x/f I guess.

Interesting.. I would always check this. Protection is very low on mono boards. Especially vs AxQd there is 0 protection as he will never fold to a normal bet. Value is thin. Against a calling range from a reg you have barely >50%. Against fish it's a…

Quote from painlezz: “First of all, why dont you 3b pre? The deeper you get the higher your 3b EV with strong hands gets. ” I dont think that applies to all hands. Especially AKo is fine to coldcall when it gets towards 150bb and deeper and ranges are…

I usually jam for 100bb. Pretty sure thats the best play on Microgaming. 140bb deep, you cant jam I think. But I wouldnt fold, call looks fine.

I dont think that any regular on any limit will fold a pair to a checkraise here. Maybe the worst ones, but he can fold some. But good thoughts in general. To have a good checkraise bluff (and especially to make raise > call) you need a board where your…

I would xb turn, your draw is not strong. You cant jam river I think with this line, so it's basically just a gutshot. As played you can bet really small on the river.

I think A5/A4 are close for preflop. Calling 3bb from SB makes it a bit more likely that he is not the best player. But agree it's close.

Mmh but what is he bluffing with? The only clear hand I see that is not a pair is 65s. To have more hands besides Ax backdoor (which you block with Ad) he has to call flop with Q9s, J9s-J8s and QJo, which is definitely not wrong but I wouldnt expect…

Hand looks good. Why do you both think that in theory some low pairs (or pp's) should be turned into bluffs on this board? Those are clear checkdowns imo. It's possible that he bluffs to much, but clearly by bluffing through all fd's including the A-hi…

I think sizing is okay. Turn should be a bit bigger. When you block the A so hard, you dont want to bet too big. I think the only combo KJ he has on the river is KJhh. Makes no sense really to slowplay turn with KJcc and then donkjam it when the flush…
